Action 27 Fevrier 2007

Hello,

Next Tuesday Feb., 27th, a meeting is planned with Carel Van der Poel (SVP and head of the CTO/PLT sector) on « NXP strategy presentation : How will NXP achieve its goal, to grow to an 8B$ Semiconductor company in next three years?”.

It seems that achieving this goal began by…the shutting down of Crolles2 site…

Here is the occasion to send signals to Eindhoven headquarter pointing out the gap between the “NXP strategy” and our future.

Solidarity of all employees (on site on Tuesday) is required in order to enhance our credibility.

So the watchword is:

Meeting point in front of the room @ 16h15, without anybody attending the meeting
Better than staying at your desk, it is important to show that we are interested in NXP future….but not the one proposed.

To emphasis our action, let’s wear the nice white tee shirt offers at the launch of NXP.

We still don’t have everybody personal email address, so let inform your interested colleagues of this action with discretion. Note that it is mandatory that the preparation of this action must be kept away from HR or direction if we want to have a real impact!.

NXP STRATEGY PRESENTATION

After the Crolles announcement mid January we received many questions on
the new NXP strategy.

How will NXP achieve its goal, to grow to an 8B$ Semiconductor company in
next three years?

What is the role of TSMC?

What are the key battle products?


Carel van der Poel, SVP and head of the CTO/PLT sector, is in Crolles next
week and we invited him to present the NXP strategy
(status and plans) to the NXP Crolles team.
